TRANSILVANIA IT CLUSTER
Transilvania IT Cluster, established in 2013, is the largest IT&C cluster in Romania, operating in the North-Western region with almost 200 members. Over the years, TITC has actively contributed to numerous national and European projects that foster innovation, digital transformation, digital twin-transition, and support for SMEs to scale and advance their business model.
As the orchestrator of The European Digital Innovation Hub in Transilvania (TEDIHT), Transilvania IT Cluster is also supporting private companies and public organisations in their digital transformation and business development journey.
Through its activities, Transilvania IT Cluster actively fosters collaborations across the quadruple helix of stakeholders: Industry, Academia, Public Authorities, and Civil Society, maintaining an inclusive approach to driving digital transformation, building partnerships with local, regional, as well as EU-wide stakeholders.
TITC contribution to ENERGENIUS
Within the ENERGENIUS project, Transilvania IT Cluster (TITC) contributes to the uptake, validation, and future exploitation of the ENERGENIUS platform by engaging diverse user groups and stakeholders. The cluster organizes workshops and engagement activities and contributes to the development of training materials that support the understanding and adoption of the platform within the broader ENERGENIUS community.
TITC also coordinates a Leader Pilot at ABC Incubator, a local innovation hub that hosts and supports start-ups. Through this pilot environment, the project’s tools and solutions are tested and validated by different stakeholders in a data-rich setting, supported by the building’s sensor infrastructure.
In addition, TITC is responsible for Data Management and Ethics monitoring, ensuring that project activities involving data collection, processing, and sharing follow appropriate governance practices and comply with relevant ethical and regulatory standards.
