EDENTIFY
EDEN (Edentify Foundation) is a non-profit research and innovation organisation based in Tallinn, Estonia, specialising in digital infrastructures, data interoperability and data-driven platforms supported by artificial intelligence for complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Its work centres on building scalable, secure and FAIR-compliant data ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on open and interoperable technologies that support cross-sectoral integration and enable data-driven decision-making.
EDEN's contribution to ENERGENIUS
Within ENERGENIUS, EDEN plays a key role in shaping and enabling the platform’s secure and interoperable digital backbone. Its contribution is structured around three main areas.
First, EDEN leads the development of the Data Beacon (ENDB), the platform’s core data infrastructure. This component is responsible for collecting, validating, harmonising and securely delivering IoT, contextual and user-related data across all ENERGENIUS services.
Second, EDEN is responsible for defining the Nexus Framework, which acts as the platform’s identity and access management layer. It ensures secure authentication, role-based access control and GDPR-compliant handling of user data across all components.
Third, EDEN leads the Award System, enabling incentive-based user engagement through wallet integration, configurable reward logic and token-based incentives.
In addition, EDEN contributes to the overall integration of the platform, helping ensure smooth interoperability between key components (such as PANORAMA, GURU, ENPLAY and ENMARKT) and consistent, secure data exchange across the ecosystem.
Through these activities, EDEN helps enable reliable data exchange between heterogeneous systems, seamless interaction between digital tools and services, and a scalable, privacy-by-design architecture. Ultimately, this supports the delivery of user-centric, data-driven energy services and contributes to the development of more sustainable and intelligent energy communities.
