ENERGENIUS Project Holds Its 4th General Assembly in Serbia

On 12–13 March 2026, the ENERGENIUS consortium gathered in Pančevo and Belgrade, Serbia, for the 4th General Assembly meeting, hosted by project partner Zentrix Lab. The two-day meeting brought together partners from across Europe to review project progress, strengthen collaboration, and define the next steps in the development of innovative solutions supporting the energy transition.

Day 1: Project Progress and Technical Developments

The first day of the meeting took place at the Zentrix Lab offices in Pančevo, where consortium members presented updates on key project work packages and ongoing technical developments.

The day also included tool demonstration sessions, showcasing the citizen digital tools and components developed within the project.

Day 2: Pilot Implementation and Exploitation Strategy

The second day of the meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia in Belgrade, focusing on pilot implementation activities and business modelling, which were initiated through a dedicated session.

ENERGENIUS also participated in a dedicated workshop organised by the Chamber of Commerce, where Nenad Gligorić, Kostas Arvanitis, and Pablo Barrachina shared the ENERGENIUS success story, from proposal writing to the Grant Agreement preparation.

Meet Ener and Genius

One of the highlights of the meeting was the first appearance of the ENERGENIUS project mascots – Ener and Genius.

These mascots represent the project’s vision of making the energy transition engaging, accessible, and inspiring, particularly through innovative approaches such as gamified learning and AI-supported solutions.

Ener and Genius will now officially become part of the ENERGENIUS team, accompanying the project at meetings and events.
