On 20–21 October 2025, the SEI “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (USUST) hosted the 20th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Technologies in Construction, Civil Engineering, and Architecture”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Academy. The event brought together over 200 researchers from Ukraine and abroad.
During the plenary session, speakers delivered a range of presentations on current topics in modern construction and architecture. Notably, the session included contributions connected to international cooperation and energy research.
Pablo Barrachina, ENERGENIUS Project Coordinator presented the ENERGENIUS project overview and progress as well as the project’s digital technologies.


Anton Smyrnov further highlighted the ENERGENIUS project and its relevance to sustainable energy systems and knowledge exchange.
The conference demonstrated USUST’s role as a leading scientific and educational centre in civil engineering and architecture, fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening international research links — including active participation in projects like ENERGENIUS that aim to address energy transition challenges across Europe.
